Important Information regarding the Conference
Please help us to serve you better:
A. ORAL PRESENTATION FILES (PPT) - DELEGATES
1. Delegates are requested to send their oral presentation files (PPT) by e-mail latest by 3rd September, 2019 to: abstractkovaicon@gmail.com
2. Please do NOT plan to bring your presentation file in a USB drive or connect your laptop directly to LCD or download the file at venue. Please note that USB drives in the college computers are DISABLED.
3. Please name the file in the following style: First Name, followed by Short version of your presentation topic (Example: Arun Immunization)
B. REACHING THE VENUE

1. If you are coming from Junction Railway station / Gandhipuram Bus stand, take an auto or taxi to PSG IMS&R, (Peelamedu). Ola, Uber and local variants are available - at least one of them has a booking counter outside the railway station. Even if "PSG Hospitals" is shown as drop location, choose or type "PSG IMS Auditorium" OR "PSG IMSR Gents Hostel" - Auditorium and Students' Hostels are close by. Tell the driver in advance (i) to take a turn from FUN MALL SIGNAL and (ii) about the exact destination within the campus - PSG Medical College (PSG IMS&R) Auditorium (near medical students' hostels).
2. While coming from Railway Station / Bus stand, after reaching FUN MALL (FUN REPUBLIC - Supermarket) Junction signal, take a turn to the RIGHT to Trichy Road.
3. If you are coming from Airport / Palakkad road, take a turn to the LEFT from the FUN MALL (FUN REPUBLIC) Signal to Trichy Road.
4. This road (Trichy Road) will take you into the campus through the "Entrance Dome" Gate (look for entrance on the right side if you are coming from FUN MALL; distance from Fun Mall Signal to Entrance Dome gate is about 600 meters).
5. DO NOT take a turn from PEELAMEDU Junction to come to the campus through the "QUARTERS GATE" - the road is open upto PSG Hospitals - vehicles will not be allowed beyond this point into the campus if you take this route. The auditorium is about 500 meters away from here.
6. There is another gate for pedestrians - those who are coming from Railway Station / Bus Stand and would like to walk, take a turn to the right from the main road (Krishnammal College Bus Stop - there is a photo studio [IAB] at the beginning of the road) and walk - about 600 meters - upto the Gate which is partly closed (no vehicles - not even bicycles - are allowed through this gate). Enter the campus and walk upto the Auditorium.
C. REGISTRATION DESK
1. Enter the PSG IMS&R Auditorium, you will find the Conference REGISTRATION Desk on the left side near the entrance (inside the auditorium).
Delegates' list is arranged in alphabetical order (based on your first name) and the entire list is split into three; displayed near the Registration Desk.
There will be four counters.
One for Invited Speakers and three for Delegates.
COUNTERS FOR DELEGATES:
Names starting from A to I
Names starting from J to Q
Names starting from R to Z
2. Present yourself to the counter - tell your name, sign against your name in the Signature Sheet.
3. Collect your conference kit. The kit has a name tag (your food coupons are kept inside the name tag pouch) - please write your name and wear it during conference hours.
4. Be seated in the auditorium - this is the venue for plenary sessions.
D. PROGRAMME SCHEDULE
A printed sheet is included in your conference kit; Click here to access a soft copy of the same.
Venue for all Plenary Sessions (including Inauguration and Valedictory) is the PSG IMS&R Auditorium.
Oral Presentations will take place at five parallel venues (three - HALL A, B, & C - in the Department of Community Medicine (4th Floor of the Medical College Building) and two - HALL D & E) in the Research Office - 1st Floor of the Medical College Building). Volunteers will help you locate the venues.
If you have booked accommodation in the PSG IMS&R Students' Hostel, please check in to the hostel after completing the formalities and come to the venue.
F. FOOD
Your conference Registration includes the following. Food coupons are kept inside your name tag pouch; please produce coupon at the food counter.
